Synopsis:
When 55-year-old Margaret Hackman decided to stop treatment for her metastatic cancer, she began living whatever time she had left. Filmmaker and friend Alberta Nye recorded Margaret’s touching story of the last eight months of her life. Margaret died the same way she lived—with enthusiasm, humour and courage as she ticked off items on her bucket list. This included flying a plane, planning her burial plot and then riding to the cemetery in the hearse on a "dry run." The movie culminates in a heart-wrenching ceremony in the hospice home when Margaret finally gets sworn in, over the phone, as a Canadian citizen. She died one month and four days later.
